Hunt for the Wilderpeople - SEXXXY Paragraph

Hello people! today I will be blogging about today's lesson at hurumanu 1, SEXXXY Paragraph.

At the end I will be showing you the silde we have worked on to make this SEXXXY Paragraph, but before that  I will be sharing you what I have learned this term in this hurumanu.

This term we have been focusing on the film "The hunt for the Wilderpeople" after finishing the movie we have been doing a lot of writing and investigating about this film starting from the director to the camera angles and finally some essays. I can share you guys some of it to but i'll be after the slide of the SEXXY paragraph.

This has help improve my writing a lot because it also helped me on how I should start a paragraph/essay etc. and what kind of stuff i should add in it depending on the topic. It also kind of helped me with some of the grammar but not completely. I also really like the topic we're working on so that is probably one of the reasons why I also did a lot of writing too.

My favorite part of the film study was learning about different kind of camera shot or angle that people/directors/makers of the movie use to make it more realistic and suspense and add more emotion into to it.  I also really like writing about the people that are included in the film because I feel like I get to know them more even though they're just a character in the movie.

And that's all I will now be sharing you guys what we have done.

This is also the one I have writen in the slide but it might a little bit small soo.. here we go!

"This paragraph is going to be mainly about the main protagonist Ricky and how he changes over time in the film.

Before even bella adopted Ricky, He doesn’t really have a home that he can go and settle in. Ricky was a troublesome child who would always break the rules doing illegal things like vandalizing, street painting, stealing and many more. But ever since Bella adopted Ricky, he finally released this personality of him being a little bit more like a kid at his age.

Ever since bella died him and Hec went onto the bushes and Ricky gained a lot of confidence on how he use to have and on the run away from the child welfare and Hec running away from the police because they suspect Hec a pervert little pedophile old man.

Seeing this in the film makes the audience feel bad for Ricky because of how he doesn’t really have a family and how Ricky doesn’t have someone to to go home to but also happy at the same time because of how Ricky finally found a home where he can settled in and a wonderful friend he can wander around with in the bushes/woods.

The director included this so that people or the audience can use Ricky as an example that people can change over time and that even people that don’t have a home will someday will find a nice, settled home they can rest, go home and relax on.

Nearly at the end of the film there is one film where Ricky was finally smiling and having a good time since he finally found his home he can go back to and that he can go anywhere freely without him breaking the law and having his own freedom that he never had from the start. The scene where it shows where he was smiling the camera angle was in a close up shot so you can see some of his movements and posture, you can also see his whole face really clear and you can tell that he really changed by that time of the film."

I think I've already blogged about this(no so sure) but I just want to share it again because this is also one of the task relating to this topic.

In the introduction of the Hunt for The Wilderpeople, the two characters Ricky and Hec didn’t really get along well with each other and don’t have a good relationship. Before they even both meet each other Ricky was from a foster home and doesn’t really have his own home he can go to. When Ricky and Hec meet with each other they already know that they won’t get along well. Hec doesn’t really want him to be in his life or even let Ricky call him “uncle” in the first place.  This can explain a lot that they won’t get along very well for the next couple of chaotic events that will happen in the future. People/viewers can even tell that they really need to get along with each other so that if won’t cause a lot of problems. However they didn’t until the end of the movie. For Hec he should really start to open up with other people so that he knows how to connect with others and build up positive relationships with other people.  For some reasons I think that Hec kind of changed after he got out of the prison and became kind of more open by the time pass by, and him and Ricky also got along very well by that period of time. By the end of the film they started to build connections and they also started to get along with each other very well, meaning their relationship has improved. However that took a lot of process and time for that to happen between the both of them.

That's all I will be blogging today! thank you for reading!
