Heat Transfer - Chemistry science

Hello people!  Today I will be blogging about today's experiment in Chemistry.

Heat Transfer : Moving heat from one place to another.

A Conductor of heat - Can pass on heat from one place to another. 
Example; A microwave and a light bulb 

Insulator of heat - Doesn't pass on the heat.
Example; House, scarf 

Convection and Conduction are both types of  heat Transfer - Where energy is passed from hot to cold.

Convection : Heat transfer without contact. 

Hot air rises      Cold air sinks

What happened with our experiment.

What Happened in our experiment is that all of us a used a tea bag for the experiment and made it goes up into the air. If you are wondering how? 

Here's how we did it!

At first we did cut the top part of the tea bag and took out the tea leaves inside. We made it go upwards so i'd be easier to light up with the match, and easier for it to burn down. Then we lighted the match so we can light it up. Once it was lighted up and was put on top of the tea bag, the fire started to go down and burn it until it was left floating in the air as ashes. Once It was cooled down it goes back down and spreads into ashes.
