Physics - Maths and Science - Report

 Aim:
To learn about voltage and other stuff connecting to Ohm's law, and connecting them all together. And to learn about calculating the area of the house and voltage of the bulb, using Ohm's law.

Method:
Me and my two other friends took Template B/2 To get a little bit more of a challange and to have a little bit more higher grade. Me and my group used 8 bulbs for the whole house. We had one on the bathroom, living room, laundry room, bedroom, lounge, a kitchen then a pantry.

Results:

(Just zoom in to see if blurry)

Disscusion:

Lounge:

3.14 = to 2 pi R 3.14 needs to be multiplied by 2 which equals to 6.28. Then that answer needs to be nultiplied by 3. We got 3 by deviding the whole area which is 6m, by two. By deviding those two you'll get 3m. Thats 3 x 6.28 equals to 18.89. After all of that 18.89 needs to be devided by 2 and that adds up to 9.42.

Main area:

H x W / Height x width
Height both sides : 9m Width : 11m
9 x 11 = 99m

Pantry:

Half base x Height
Base = 6
6 devided by 2 equals 3.
Height = 3
3 x 3 = 9m

For this one to find the area we need to times half base by it's height. The whole base equals to 6m which needed to be devided by 2. That equals to 3. Then that 3 needs to be multiplied by it's height which is also 3. Meaning 3 x 3 = 9m.

Whole area:

99 + 9 + 9.42 = 117.42 For the whole area. We need to add up all of the area we calculated for the whole house and then we'll be able to find the answer.

Pathway:

For the pathway and the bulbs, each have 200 voltages. For one bulb you'll have to divide it by the voltage and you'll get the answer. You divide it based on how many bulbs are in one pathway. It all goes the same as Bulb 1. But this time you need to devide the Voltage with the answer you got from the pathway to find the amps. After that then you'll find out what amps you have for each pathways. After all the equations we came apon the answer; 21.34.
How we did this is showed in the picture up there.

I think that these calculations made me understand on how electricity actually works and how they are made. These calculations I have made a lot of sense for me because this is how I would usually take notes of how to do them. But of course at first it actually confused me most of the time. I wasn't at school for a day which was a really bad idea because that was the day the class was tought on how to work it out. Good thing though one of the people in our group was there which who helped us on how things works.

Overall I really enjoyed this project because I get to learn a lot more about Physic science and maths altogether. Now looking back at it I used to think that these kind of stuff are so complicated and I would always get confuse if I would ever do this. But now that I have done it I was actually right about those things. It was complicated yet easy to adapt (for me at least) and I got really confused for most of the time. However I really like it because I now learned something new and was able to challenge myself. To be honest the next time if we ever do this again, maybe I would do the same thing I've done; taking notes of how to do them and how I would be able to solve them. If it was the house plan... Maybe I'll go for Plan c since I now know how to work it out and I'd be good since it gives higher grades.

Rice paper Parcel - Food - Home economic

Hello people! Today in foods we did this dish called Rice paper parcel. Faye didn't come to school today so I was alone... But some nice people invited me to their team and we did the dish together... Since the focus of this blog is how to do them, I will do that now.

First of all you need all the vegetables cut into julian strips except for the carrot and lettuce. You need to grate the carrot and leave the lettuce as it is. Everyone in our team each got a lettuce. Then Miss/Mrs. Rose Hindson gave everyone one rice paper to put on the engredients. We were all instructed to wet the rice paper back and front.  After that we added all the ingredients we all want in our wrap.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(I forgot to mention the ingredients so i will be telling you guys what the ingredients are.)

Ingredients

Red onion

Celery

Green Capcicum

Carrots

Lettuce

Beans Sprouts

Rice Vermicelli

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We were all instructed to put the lettuce first then add all the other ingredients.. After adding all the ingredients that we wanted, we wraped it in all sides then secured it. Other than that, three nice people invited me to their group like I said in the intro, because I was alone since Faye didn't come to school. And because of that I am thank full for you guys, thank you :)

That is all for my blog! Thanks for reading.

Spelling/Grammar - Social Media Madness - English

Hello people! Today I will be blogging about another task from my English subject this week again.  For this I will only be answering the questions and correcting them without writing the sentences that's I'm trying to correct..Since I'm suppose to finish this today, I'm only writing the answers like I said.

Social Media Madness

Grammar 3

1) I have a few good friends there you'd have a lot in common with!

2) Why does life have to be complicated... I'm so lonely, wide awake and have nothing to do. Some guys are real jerks, How can you tell someone it's over in text instead of telling them in person?

3) What's gonna happen at Saturday? ...Oh wait...Is it gonna be someones Birthday!?

4) Well on my way back from New Orleans, I went ahead straight to Gorgia in the morning. Making that money, you all shouldn't take part until late. But I wanna chill a little bit more before i leave. Who's down?

5) I just want to say thank you to my aunt for taking care of us all since we were little. She have always helped us whether it's just simple life lesson or taking us to do something fun... To this day you still continue to teach me and help me. And I can't express how appreciative I am for everything you've ever done for us. So this is for you aunt Tina. THANK YOU and I love you! You're the best aunt anybody could ak for.

Quotation marks - English

 Writing Pratice:

1. "Don't worry about that," said Anna "It'll work out in the end."

2. The song "Payphone" is one of my favorites!

3. "Are you done with your homework?" asked Adelaide "Maybe I can help you if you need it."

4. "Have you seen the new student today?!" asked Mary, "I'm so exited to meet them!"

5. Albert Eistein once said, "Life is like a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Those was the last task of the work I was working on, and I will be talking about the other task that I did with the group I was in.

The other work was about re-writing a sentence and correcting the quotation marks positions etc.

I can't show you what I have done since I've done it with my notebook. However I can talk about what I have learned from doing those activities.

First of all I learned where you put the period at the end of the sentence with the quotation mark.  Normally before I would be confused whether to put it inside the quotation mark or outside. But because of these tasks I learned the correct way of where to put and how to use it.

My Weekend - ESOL

Today for ESOL I am going to write about my time during my holiday.

Physically, I went out quite a lot of times this holiday. I had a hangout with my friends at the westfield, at the first week of the holiday. We wondered around the westfield for four hours and went home after. Me and my family also went out, and went to New Brighton and Botanical garden... I really liked Botanical the most because not only it's big and has alot of places to go to. There's also a lot of beautiful places where there's lots of pretty plants to take pictures with. For example the sakura tree, which is my favourite tree.

Other than that, I also learned new drawing techniques. I learned a new way of drawing a side view face and eyes. The drawing that I normally do is anime since I'm not really that good with realistic. I'm still a beginner so I am still learning.

Emotionally I reacted to this few kdramas/Cdramas I finished over the holidays and some of them made me cry, laugh, and squeal most of the time. Other than going out when I'm inside stuck the whole day, all I do is binge watching kdramas and chinese drama.  To be honest other than binge watching k/cdrama's I also read some manga's/manwhas that I have been reading for a long time now.

Circut construction - Physics

 Current Rule: Definition

-Show in series = Same

-Show in Parallel = Split

In series current is the same everywhere. In parallel current is split between pathway.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Voltage Rule: Definition

-Show voltage in series = Split

-Show woltage in parallel = Same

In series the voltage is split between componets. In parallel the voltage is the same everywhere.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Definition of:

-Current (I) = How quickly the electrons move. (Flow)

-Voltage (V)= How much the electrons are carrying.

-Resistance (R)= Used to slow/resist flow of electrons. (current)

Current Circuits

Hello people! Today I will be blogging about what we did here in science - Physics.

The topic was about Current Circuits and how it works. We used this app called Circuit Construction Kit.

Here's what we did. The circuit that we did included; Battery, Wire, Bulb and switch.

Battery- The batter is the one that gives up energy for the electrons.

Wire- The wire is that one where the electrons travels through.

Bulb- The Bulb is the one that lights up.
Switch- This is that one that connects and stops the electron if needed.

If you don't know what a current and voltage is, I'll explain.

Current- How quikly electrons move.
Voltage- How much engery the electrons have.

Series Circuit

In all componets (parts) of a Circuit are in one loop.
This circuit has:
-Two light bulbs
-Wires
-one battery.

Parallel Circuit
In Parallel Circuit, components are on different branches/paths.
This Circuit has:
-Two light bulbs
-half in two wires
-One Battery.

With the parrallel Ciruit, the electrons go alternatally so that the one that is going straight down is going to the other bulb at the buttom.

Here's an example:

The First one is the series Circuit and the one that looks like a box is the parrallel Circuit.
