Chaos-Hur1 Conflic and chaos

 Hello people today I will be blogging about that we have been working on Hur1 chaos about The hunt For the Wilder people.  We have done a slide that all talks about the chaotic events that happened in the film and we have written a Sexxy paragraph that is also about the hunt for the Wilder people. For the Sexxy Paragraph we all have a choice of which chaotic event we want to do and write about. 

I have chose Hec and Ricky not getting along with each other. Those two are the two(?) main protagonist in the film. I am not really that sure if it is the two of them that are the main protagonist or just Ricky. 

Anyways I will be sharing you guys the Sexxy Paragraph I have done.

Sexxy Pharagraph 

In the introduction of the Hunt for The Wilderpeople, the two characters Ricky and

Hec didn’t really get along well with each other and don’t have a good relationship.

Before they even both meet each other Ricky was from a foster home and doesn’t

really have his own home he can go to. When Ricky and Hec meet with each other

they already know that they won’t get along well. Hec doesn’t really want him to

be in his life or even let Ricky call him “uncle” in the first place.  This can explain

a lot that they won’t get along very well for the next couple of chaotic events that

will happen in the future. People/viewers can even tell that they really need to get

along with each other so that if won’t cause a lot of problems. However they

didn’t until the end of the movie. For Hec he should really start to open up with

other people so that he knows how to connect with others and build up positive

relationships with other people.  For some reasons I think that Hec kind of changed

after he got out of the prison and became kind of more open by the time pass by,

and him and Ricky also got along very well by that period of time. By the end of

the film they started to build connections and they also started to get along with

each other very well, meaning their relationship has improved. However that

took a lot of process and time for that to happen between the both of them.

9ESOL

 Hello people today I will be talking about the game we have played in groups and individually. 

First up I will be telling you the game we played in groups, It is called the "Hot Potato". We were all divided into three groups. Each group have to have a paper in front of each group member and a pencil or a pen. We all have to make up a story with only each person writing one word at a time. It was kind of a challenge and a huge mess but it was fun and everyone participated in the game and enjoyed it. However the sentences didn't really made any sense so we all re-written the sentence into a proper one. No we didn't get the first paper we got but the paper we got from the last word we written. If it's alright I will be sharing you all the sentence me and my group made. 

Original: "One day a time we walked to store and saw a cat and dog they were ugleh" 

Fixed: "One day, We walked into the store and saw a cat and dog without their owner and they were ugly"

That was for the Hot Potato game.

Now I will be talking about the individual game we all have played. How we play is we will all the paper from the last game we played and use the back or the remaining space at the bottom of the paper. We all have to write a little story using the alphabetical order in each word in the sentence of the story. However I can't really show you an example of this individual game we have played however I will try and find an example of it from google. Turns out I can't find any from google so I will try and make up one hehe..

ESOL

 Hello people Today I will be talking about what are some fun things we do in ESOL. 

Today we play a little quiz about the tittle of the books and the name of the characters in the books. Everyone was screaming and hipping up each other.

I really find games like these really fun and challenging. I hope we could do more games like this in the future. I also really like guessing games where everyone is playing it but with teams and stuff. I also really like doing like group games, debates and more.

I also would like it if we do writing id be more fun if the writing have interesting questions or words in it just like the one we did last time with three words and make up a story about it. 

FRIENDS- what a good friend is and how to be a good friend to your self- 9Wga

Hello people today I will be blogging about  is a slide task we have been doing this week, but I only did it last nigh. The topic is about what a good friend is and how to be a good friend to your self. 

Helping my friends if they need some help from something. 

I have been a good friend to my self by not giving up and encouraging my self if i made a mistake.

Sometime being a good friend would respect your properties, you/ your personality and many more ways.

You can start reading the slide we did now. I don't really have anything more to say but hopefully my intro helped a bit for what the slide is about.

Biology - how our body works

 Hello people today I will be blogging about this week's dissecting project.  

We have dissected a sheep heart, since the sheep's heart is kinda similar to human hearts that is why our teacher decided to use a sheep heart instead. 

At first it looked kinda disgusting and it smelled really bad but once you got into it, started dissecting it it's not that bad. However for the first few cuts on the sides of the heart smelled real bad. But after me and a friend of mine cut the first side we saw the right side of the heart and then saw the inside of it. The first side we cut was the right side and that side was the thick and the left side was thin. when we started cutting the left side we saw where the veins connected and go through. 

 It was kinda exciting cutting and seeing inside heart for the first time. I actually thought that I will see a lot of blood from inside coming out while cutting it but luckily it didn't.  

I will be showing you a picture of the heart while it was still fine and not cutted. However if you don't want to see it you can just skip it.

 That is a picture of me holding the heart while it was still in shape.  On the top you can see the Arteries, the veins and the Artriums. 

The heart needs oxygen to pump and function well and to keep the pump going. After it gets oxygen from your mouth or nose it removes/exhale carbon dioxide. 

The Artriums is where the blood goes into the heart to each side from the veins and that's where Arteries goes in to this topic. Arteries is where it takes blood away from the heart to spread it all around the body and then once that happens the veins also bring back the blood to the heart from the body and do that process again and again.

The other parts of the heart inside are the: 

                                               -Valves

-Heart string                                               

-Septum

-Ventricles

- Muscled walls

These have their own job to do to make sure the heart function well.

The Valves are a one way gates. It stops the blood from going backwards.

Heart string holds the valves in place.

Septum separates the left and the right side of the heart.

Ventricles is a V shaped cavities which push the blood into arteries to take away from the heart.

Muscle walls is strong enough to help squeeze and push blood around the body. 

 

After we cutted all the sides we have cutted through the heart into a half then that when we saw all those things I have said above.

9ESOL - This weeks challenges

 Hello people today I will be blogging about the challenging stuff we have done in ESOL this week.

So to start of I will be talking about the three word short story we made today. We were given three words to make up stories with. Those three words were Contemplate, Courageous and Cornucopia.

Its kind of hard to think of a story line with words you have never heard of used before so instead I made it really simple and random. 

This Tuesday we also did a reading task. After reading the short story we have to answer few questions about the story. Some questions doesn't really made any sense so I got confused at some point but at least I got to answer them all.

There once was a 15 year old teenage girl who has always loved fruits and vegetables ever since

she was a little girl.  Her name was Kliana. Whenever she goes to school she would always have

her own lunch with fruits and vegetables in it. A lot of people don’t normally eat healthy food but

unlike any other children her age she doesn’t care about what other people think about her, she

just wants to eat her fruits and vegetables and get healthy..  

One time there was a school festival going on in her school so she decided why not make a

Cornucopia everyone in the school can look at it and be amazed by the creativity of the style

that is put in with the fruits and vegetables. 

  Kliana was a Courageous  teenage girl, if she wanted to do something that is right and for people to see the importance of

one thing. She will do it, she will do it without any hesitatAfter school she went to the  market to buy the supplies including the fruits and vegetables.

She contemplate the fruits one by one to see if they are in a good condition so she could buy them.

After she finished buying the stuff she needed she headed straight home to make the Cornucopia

for the festival which was happening the following day.

The school festival day finally came. She headed to her spot and placed down the Cornucopia in

the middle of the table. Good thing everything went well for her and a lot of people were also

interested in this type of stuff. She was really happy with the outcome. She came home with a

happy face because not only people only learned about something new, she also got new friends

because of it. 

Ever since then she kept doing this every year for the first years that comes to the school. She

once said “Everything can be possible if you keep trying.”

Athletics Day

 Hello people! Today I will be blogging about the Athletics that happened yesterday. There were many sports events that happened yesterday and I will be giving you four of those events that we did; High jump, Discus circle 2, 60m run and then shut put circle. Those sports was the one that all the year 9 girls did.

 After the sport events every Kahui gathered up in one line to watch the relay race that happened yesterday at 2:00 pm which was the last event of the sports event. There three Kahui's; Mohua, Riroriro then Tieke my/our Kahui. Every Kahui have their own colours just like Mohua they have the color gold, Blue for Rirorio then red for us Tieke. For the Relay run Riroriro came first one the race then our our Kahui(Tieke) came second. 

Every Kahui have their own chant and I will be telling you the chant we did for our Kahui.
